Description

Irish linen tea towels are well known for being some of the best you can get. We've taken our traditional stripe design, that has been in production for over a century, and further infused it with more Irishness (which we've decided is a word).

Each tea towel in this collection features something extra in the central band. These make the perfect gift for someone with a taste for the tradition, with an extra hint of home.

The rougher the sea the smoother we sail. Ahoy!

Care Guide

General Care Instructions for Irish Linen Products

Caring for Linen is relativly simple, the fabric is amazingly durable. Following these instructions will help it stay in top condition for longer

Washing:

  • Machine Washable: Gentle cycle with cold or lukewarm water (up to 40°C).
  • Mild Detergent: Use a mild, liquid detergent. Avoid bleach or brighteners.
  • Separate Wash: Wash linen items separately to avoid friction.

Drying:

  • Tumble Dry on Low: If necessary, use a low heat setting.
  • Line Dry Recommended: Preferable to line dry for natural softness.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prevents color fading.

Ironing:

  • Ironing is Optional: Iron while damp for a smoother look.
  • Use a Medium-Hot Iron: Iron on the reverse side to protect colors.

Storing:

  • Store in a Cool, Dry Place: Avoid plastic bags or boxes.
  • Avoid Compression: Prevent creasing by not compressing under heavy items.

General Tips:

  • No Bleaching: Bleach can damage linen fibers.
  • Gentle Handling: Linen becomes softer and more absorbent with each wash.
  • Promptly Remove from Dryer: Minimize wrinkles by removing when slightly damp.

Testimonials

Amazing towels

It's safe to say they've gotten the job done and more. Fergusons produces their products in Ireland so the quality will always be top notch

Shane

The quality is perfect

I've had it for a month and I've noticed the difference between the box of dish towels I use to get and an Irish linen tea towel. The tea towel lasts far longer and it absorbs much better.

Sarah

My go-to for tea towels

These tea towels having a simple design help match my kitchen design so everything goes together style-wise. Even after a couple months, the towels are still so soft.

Joselyn

One Towel, Multiple Uses

Hold hot trays, cover baked goods, use it as a presentation piece, or clean up your average spill, our tea towels were built for basically any kitchen use

It Lasts Years & Gets Softer With Every Wash

You can use the same towel for a couple years, but how many will maintain it's quality? After being washed a couple times, the quality of 90% of towels will decrease. Our tea towels are built to look good and take on any kitchen task and maintain it's performance for years.

A Clean Kitchen With Anti-Bacterial Tea Towels

A kitchen is the one place you don't want bacteria spread. But there's so many ways it can: dirty dishes, germs on hands, and dirty towels. Irish Linen is built to be anti bacterial. Protecting your kitchen but also making your cooking taste better.
