We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@fergusonsirishlinen.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Returns are made at your own expense.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as masks). These exceptions do not affect a Buyers statutory rights in relation to faulty goods. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we also cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Rejected Shipments

If a parcel is refused at delivery, unclaimed from customs, or otherwise returned to us by the courier ("Return to Sender" or "RTS") — including where this results from a customer declining to pay import duties or taxes — the following applies:

  1. Refund eligibility. Once the parcel is confirmed received back at our warehouse in good condition, we will issue a refund for the item(s), less the deductions set out below.
  2. Deductions from refund. We will deduct from the refund:
    • The RTS/return handling fee charged to us by the courier for the parcel's return.
    • The cost of return shipping/freight charged to us by the courier.
    • Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable, as this service was provided regardless of the parcel's refusal.
    These amounts reflect our actual, documented costs only; we do not add any markup or administration charge beyond the courier's invoiced fees.
  3. Timing. Refunds are processed within [15] business days of the parcel being received back and inspected. We will provide an itemized breakdown (item refund, less RTS fee, less return shipping) on request.
  4. No obligation to reship. We are under no obligation to resend a refused or unclaimed parcel. If the customer wishes to receive the item, a new order and new shipping payment will be required.
  5. Customer's acknowledgment. By placing an order for international delivery, the customer acknowledges that import duties and taxes may apply, that these are the customer's responsibility, and that refusal to pay them will result in the deductions described above.
